Meet Dr. Mike Kierl
Dr. Kierl believes in providing personalized orthodontic care tailored to each patient’s needs. He is committed to creating a comfortable, positive experience while achieving the healthiest, most confident smiles. His approach emphasizes clear communication, careful treatment planning, and a patient-first philosophy that guides every aspect of care.
Dr. Mike Kierl, was born and raised in Oklahoma City as the eighth of ten children. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Notre Dame University and completed his specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he also received a Master of Science in Orthodontics. He has been in private practice since 1989 and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the University’s Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Kierl is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the Oklahoma Orthodontic Society. He continually updates his education through professional meetings, lectures, and advanced courses to provide the most current and effective care.
When he’s not creating beautiful smiles in the office, Dr. Kierl loves spending time with his wife, Ann, and their four children, Peter, Patraic, Maureen, and Clare. He is active in his church and enjoys giving back to the community, including coaching little league basketball and junior high football for many years. Outside of work and volunteering, he loves sports, family adventures, and curling up with a good “whodunit” mystery whenever he gets a quiet moment.
